Rize, from what we know about her, is a very sadistic and greedy ghoul.

She's known as the Binge Eater and often uses her charms to lure in prey.

She only seems to think of herself... so having her as a yandere can be... distressing.

Although, I do imagine she has a vulnerable side, too.

Rize is someone who craves control, the very thing she struggles to obtain throughout her life.

She's also a bored person... which causes her to roam wards.

It's her form of freedom.

Rize originally met you out of that same boredom.

She was intending to seduce you and make you another one of her meals.

But... what if she didn't.

What if she stalks you with the intention of making you food... She finds something else in you.

If you think about it, being the one Rize falls in love with isn't much of a mercy.

Granted, now you aren't ghoul food...

Yet Rize is demanding.

Rize could've met you intending to be a friend... or maybe you both cut to the chase and tried out a date or two.

To make things different from how I usually do yanderes... Let's say you and Rize are dating.

You had met her intending to make her your girlfriend, unaware of the fact she's stalked you for way longer.

Rize likes to know her prey, after all....

However, instead of hunting you down and eating you on the first date, she holds off.

Granted... your scent is delectable and she can't help but want to feel your warmth...

Although, it turns out there's other ways she can do that.

Imagine Rize deciding it's better off to play your girlfriend to chase another hunger.

After your first date, Rize offers to walk you home... but not to harm you.

If anything, she just hopes to be closer to you... to make you trust her...

Plus, she wants to show other ghouls a human like you is hers.

Rize is skilled in deception like other ghouls around humans.

She finds joy in both manipulating you and your company.

She often meets you at your workplace... or even your home.

She's all sweet smiles, asking to read with you or go on another date.

If anything, she's a little addicted to these dates.

They're great to soothe herself after a hunt.

She plays the role of your sweet and gentle bookworm girlfriend, one who's simply attentive to her partner.

Behind the scenes she stalks everything you do... and hunts humans and ghouls alike to satisfy her hunger and boredom.

She also happens to love showing her claim over you.

It first starts as tight hugs, her purposely pressing close to make you focus on her.

Then during your first few kisses she's gentle yet passionate... only to exhibit a possessive hunger within the later ones.

It isn't going to be long before Rize bites you, unable to deny her curiosity for your taste.

You taste delicious... the taste brings her a euphoric sense of pleasure....

She's a binge eater... but she occasionally treats herself to a bit of your blood.

Not enough to be too suspicious, you may just see her as rough with affection and love bites.

Rize often likes to be in your home and room, surrounding herself in your scent as she corners you.

She loves having you all for yourself... often coaxing you into bed with her...

At first it's just cuddles, Rize getting a possessive satisfaction from just holding you.

Soon enough though... she gets a bit ravenous... concerningly so.

By the end of it you'll no doubt be covered in bites, Rize lapping at the blood on her lips like you're some sort of sweet treat to her.

It gets scary when you see your sweet girlfriend become a beast the more you're around her.

Rize plays off her possessive behavior as just being clingy, often nuzzling into you or holding you close on dates.

Yet you slowly realize there's something... different about her.

She's overly jealous, expressing her distaste towards others around you with open disdain.

Especially if she can smell they're a ghoul, her kakugan threatening to overtake her when she catches that foul scent.

It would make sense if you tried to cut things off because Rize was being... toxic.

She chases off people around you and her affection begins to hurt after a while.

Maybe you try to break up with her because you're overwhelmed... or have your suspicions of her ghoul behavior....

Regardless, you ask for a break, and Rize pretends to go along with it.

Yet the second you're out alone... Rize tackles you like the skilled hunter she is.

She's too attached to you to let someone else have you.

You already smell like her anyways....

She pins you to the ground in a dark alleyway, her kagune sprouting from her back to pin you.

Her kakugan stares into you like a true predator, if it wasn't obvious now...

You've been dating one of the most infamous ghouls for the past few... what? Weeks, Months?

It doesn't matter as Rize doesn't plan on letting you go.

Her ultimatum is simple.

You either take her back as your girlfriend... or she eats you.

Both options make her keep you for herself, your choice.

Rize would manipulate you back to her side, but the relationship is tense.

You know what she is... and what she could do at any time.

Yet she chooses not to.

All because she wants you to make her feel free and understand her.

There's times she's vulnerable, pulling you close in bed as she mutters about you never leaving her.

She's selfish with what she wants... and she's never felt so comforted in someone's arms.

She's a killing machine, one who thrives on blood.

Yet you're the one who manages to make her commit to someone... to feel safe.

Rize never leaves your side, even if it means stalking you.

She doesn't care if she needs to use her kagune to tear someone apart to keep you.

Blood could drip from her and she'd still embrace you like you're her sweetest little treasure.

Rize loves you, she realizes that now.

That love hasn't quite spared you from her though.

Your relationship may continue like normal...

But she could snap at any time.

Rize craves the connection you give her.

You ease her boredom, you provide her with a purpose other than senseless eating.

You don't make her feel used.

In fact, it's more like her using you.

Now that you've given her a reason for existence... nothing else matters.

Rize would gladly tear into and consume others if it meant she'd keep you all for herself...

Even consume you to be one with her love.

Hiiiiiii! So I lied, I need one more chapter before we get into the way of water. Just this one chapter and then we go! So enjoy~!!

“I see you brother….thank you for these gifts…” neteyam mutters a prayer as he gives his hunt a merciful kill. His family will eat well tonight thanks to this mighty beast. His fellow hunters in training give him praise, but the one that matters the most smiles down at him with pride. 

“Well done neteyam, words can't express how proud I am” jake speaks with joy in his tone. Neteyam nods, feeling happy that his dad feels that way. He lets out a tired sigh of relief. Jake pats him on the back, “go on home, the others will take the yerik to the cooks”. Nodding, neteyam does so. Finally having a few minutes to himself. 

To be honest, on the outside he was calm and collected, but on the inside? He was down right terrified. That one he caught was already big enough, and had brute strength! He had his doubts that he could make the kill. 

He exceeded many expectations from not just his father, but from the village elders and even his grandmother. Now the next big step is taming an ikran. 

Neteyam for sure as hell he is not ready for that. 

1 year.

It's been 1 whole year since the RDA took in young sully. A year of boring, hellish, cold, lifeless isolation. No way to track time. No way of going out for even a walk. E-Mags are forbidden. Click-Like is a no go. Literally any form of contact with the outside world is non-existent. The urge to message someone, anyone that she is ok. Someone has to be worried about her. 

Her roommates? Her best friends? Or her peers at her favorite Class? Her favorite teacher? 

“Anyone….” 

The fear of being forgotten is something that sully dreads about. To exist yet making no imprint on the world. 

Surely someone must have also tried to contact her. Tatianna is the type that blocks out anyone from going near little sully.  What is that old hags problem? Does she hate humanity or something? 

What about her dad? Is Tatianna keeping his calls away? Surely he has been meaning to keep contact. ‘He isn't coming back’ her ass! 

“That old hag hates me or something…” she mutters to herself. 

Just then, the door slid aside, revealing tatianna. 

“You have been cooped up all morning. How about a little field trip?”

“And why the hell do I gotta speak na’vi? Its bad enough I look like one” quaritch groans in complaint. Dr. Sanchez rolls his eyes, this blue ball ass is starting to irk him. 

“Look bud, I know you hate your extra tail limb and elven smurf looking ass but you are na’vi. Like it or not. So to fully go into the Pandora ecosystem and learn the way, you gotta learn na’vi” Dr. Sanchez explained for the 4th time. 

And for the 4th time, quaritch just scoffed. 

“And what? I suppose you know na’vi?” 

“I have a master’s degree in foreign language, so yes, I speak na’vi fluently,” Sanchez said with a bit of grit in his teeth. The recom cackled at that. 

“You? From what I can tell, you never went to Pandora, unless you were supposed to. Either way, I dont see the nick nack in all that bullshit” 

Sanchez was just about ready to throw his tablet at the blue ass’s face. How did anyone in the rda deal with him? Just now he feels just a teeny tiny bit of sorry for little sully. She has to grow up by his side. What a way to grow. 

“Speaking of, where is that tatty lady? I’ve been meaning to get some new routes” 

“New routes?” Sanchez repeats. 

“Yeah, giving me more access to where ever the fuck we are. Im gettin bored and I gotta stretch these legs” miles reasons. The scientist sighs, “she is busy giving a small field trip to miss sully” 

Quaritch raises an eyebrow, “where at?”

“Right here, you must work your arms better” neytiri instructs kiri and lo’ak in their archery lessons. While early into their lessons, neytiri can already see the weak spots. Lo’ak tries to keep his aim steady but his arms shake, while kiri struggles at the whole concept of archery. 

“Kiri?” she approaches her daughter who hasn't picked up her bow. 

There was a frown on her face, glaring at the bow like it offended her. 

“Why do we have to learn this?” she asks. With patience and grace, neytiri bends down to her level and a kind smile on her face. 

“It is important that we learn how to strike an arrow. Archery has been part of our customs for generations. Teaches us how to defend and hunt. It can also be part of an artistic sport” neytiri explains. 

“Hunt…” kiri whispers. Shaking her head in defiance, “no” she says. 

“Why no?” neytiri asks, trying to understand kiri. 

“No, I don't wanna learn archery. I don't wanna hurt animals. They are our brothers and sisters, are they not?” her daughter questions. 

So that seems to be the problem. 

“Indeed” neytiri begins to say. “They are part of us as we are part of them. However, when we hunt, we give our thanks and pray that they depart in peace and be with Eywa once more. And be grateful of their gifts, that we appreciate what they give us” 

 Kiri huffed a bit, not yet picked up her bow, “I still don't like it, I don't like causing pain” 

“I understand,” neytiri whispers patiently. Gently she cradles her daughter, giving a short glance over at lo’ak who resumes practicing his archery. 

“But at some point kiri, even for not hunting but for defending, archery is a skill you must hone. You never know when you will need it, and you must be ready for it. 

“And where are we…?” young sully asks. 

It felt a bit cold but the lights and choice of colors in the room were warm and golden. Almost like a sunset illusion. From the entrance all the way down to the hall was filled with many ancient artifacts, old art, scrolls, sculptures, statues, old armor, evidence of a long forgotten era. But young sully noticed something, something that they all had one thing in common. 

“Female….warriors?” she asked. 

Tatianna smiled with glee and joy, a weird smile in sully’s eyes. 

“This is my personal collection. I come here from time to time and look at all that once was.  What more it could have been” 

Sully turns to her left and sees a mural, its paint very faint and worn down. Cracks and chipping away, Its age speaking for itself. Depicting and army of women in armor, shields close to their body and long spears ready to pierce the enemy on the other side of the mural. 

“Ah yes, this is one of the rarest pieces in my collection. It was difficult to find, harder yet to retrieve it” tatiiana explains as she also admires the artwork. 

Silence came after, letting the young girl take in the whole thing. Hint of wonder in her blue eyes. 

But it soon broke, “little one, have you ever heard of the Amazon warriors?” the scientists asked. 

Young sully shrugs, “heard a bit. Mostly because of that old comics of wonder women” 

Tatianna chuckles, patting on the girls shoulder she continues, “amazon women are one of the worlds greatest pieces of history. As time futhers into the future, we distance ourselves from the past. These collections are remnants of that. Amazon women is one of my favorite pieces of history….” 

“Clearly….” 

Still this doesn't clarify the whole point of this ‘trip’. 

Tatianna sees the silly expression from the young girl, earning another chuckle, “come, let me tell you something….” 

“That was fun, are there more?” young kiri clapped her hands as she just finished watching a vlog of her biological mother, Grace. She binges them every day was there was plenty to watch but she just cant get enough. 

Young spider looked through  the computer they were using to watch, he frowned. “no, that was the last one…” 

Kiri copied his expression, that isnt right, surely there had to be more? 

“What about the other computers?” she . Spider shook his head, “I am not allowed to touch the other ones. Only this computer” 

Kiri understood but didn't like it. She wanted more, she needed more. Until spider made a fist and lightly slammed it on his other hand. “I know! The backup storage!” he exclaimed. 

Kiri tilted her head, spider grabbed her hand and led the way. 

“Norm and others go to the backup storage to look for copies of things they are looking for. Maybe there might be more videos of your mom in there” 

Now this made her excited. 

Spider was quick to put the password on the lock pad and enter the massive room. 

“The files are in the back! We just have to find your mom’s name, "Spider says with excitement. Quickly they went to work. Going all the way to the back, using kiri’s height, the two were quick to narrow down Grace’s name. But just before they could pull the drawer, a voice was heard behind them. 

“And what are you two doing?” 

Both kids jumped in surprise but relaxed once they saw it was max.

“Spider is going to help me find more videos of my mom” kiri was quick to explain. Spider nods  quickly.

 He shook his head and was quick to guide the kids back out of the storage room. Both of them groaned and moaned in disappointment. 

“This isnt a place for kids, if you need something tell me or someone else. You know we can get them for you” 

Spider looks up at max a bit curiously, “but why can't WE go in?” 

“Because knowing you two, stuff will break or cause a fire. And we will lose very important things that won't be recovered anymore. Now go on, you had enough monitor watching for today” 

“B-but-” 

“No buts! I will let you guys know when the next grace’s vlogs are ready to be watched” 

“Look at them jake, all so beautiful…” neytiri whispers as she looks at each of her children with adoring motherly eyes. It was night and the Sully children were sleeping peacefully silent. All huddling close and sharing their warmth. 

Jake shares the view with his mate. His endless love for them is always growing each day. 

“All so perfect…” he agrees. 

His sons are growing strong, his daughters becoming lovely each day. All of them growing up bright and wonderful. 

Yet, in the back of his head. There is an itch, a little itch that he just cant scratch. He can ignore it and put his mind in things that will keep him occupied, but the itch comes back. Thankfully, to him at least, the itch lessons each day. Painfully slow. 

Not something he should bother mo’at about. 

“Ma’jake, as his father, do you believe neteyam is ready…?” neytiri wonders. Her soft eyes landed on neteyam’s sleeping face. 

Not too long ago he tamed a pali, the ikran is next. 

Jake let out a low rumbling chuckle, “knowing him, he is ready for anything” 

Without needing words, neytiri agrees.

The door opened and out was tatiana and young sully. Her eyes and mind are now slightly shifting to a new perspective. 

“Now do you understand how important it is to learn everything?” the older lady asks. 

The young girl nods. 

“I want to head back to my room…to recharge for tomorrow’s lesson” 

This made Tatianna smile in glee, “of course, I will bring your dinner later. I will talk with Sanchez about making a new schedule” 

With that, they part ways. 

Tatianna’s mind is now on overdrive with so many new ideas and experiments to explore. It took too damn long but she finally managed to get that sully kid to see her way. 

FINALLY! 

Her amazon warrior shall come to fruition! 

Now it is time to see if Sanchez can pull his side of the deal. 

Speaking of. 

“The hell are you doing?” she orders/asks. 

She reached his lab and saw Sanchez jump around like a loony tune idiot. Waving around something in his hand. 

“TATTY! Guess what?!” he shouts maddeningly excited. 

Sully lays her head on her pillows. After that little field trip through the old hag’s amazon warrior collection, a new idea sprouts in her mind. 

“If you can't come back….then I will come to you” she whispers to herself. A promise. She will do whatever they want her to do. If it is to get to Pandora, so be it. This is her key. Feeling a bit dumb for not noticing it earlier. 

She shot near quaritch, maybe she can do it again. Using his stupid words as her fuel. 

Speaking of, that is one thing sully will have to suck up. Working with him. She has tolerated idiot guys back in school, she can take this knock off blue ass. 

All to go to pandora. 

This is her promise, her determination, her goal. 

“I will bring you back home dad…and we will be together like we used to. I promise”

Tatianna stares in absolute shock at what she was holding. 

“Is this real? Not fake?” she asks, she had to be sure. 

Sanchez nodded, “insane right? I tripled check, our mole says its 100% legit” 

He once again laughed, his cheeks starting to hurt from smiling constantly. 

Oh this is just perfect. Too perfect. 

It seems the traitor didnt wait so long. 

“This will shatter the poor girl…!!” Sanchez wheezes out. Tatianna couldn't agree more. 

“Exactly, this will ruin whatever little hope she has….maybe even change her view on him” the more the lady thought about it, the more tempting it became. 

“Hold on a sec….heh….are you really going to show her?” Sanchez couldn't help but laugh in between his laughs. 

Tatianna didn't need to give a verbal answer, it was already decided. 

“Amazon warriors have gone through hardships to become strong….both physically and mentally. Let this be the first step of her process. Hopefully this will drown that spark in her eyes. And soon, very soon, she will be ready to become the perfect warrior I desire her to be, recoms be damned” 

Sanchez stopped laughing. Looking at his partner's eyes, he knows that look. The same look his long gone peers had. He can only hope that whatever Tatianna throws at the child, that she will be ready for it. 

Aaaaaaaaand that is it for this one! Now I promise you in the next chapter, NOW we begin in the Way of water plot! Hope you guys are excited for this one! Until next time! See ya!

Setting A Standard

I like to think myself reasonable, maybe some think I'm too much of a hard ass but eh, I like to be innovative and create and the only thing that starts a force is movement. So I move.

Now, I noticed this and others beside me have noticed this as well, so I'd like to believe I'm not making this up when I address it but.. I can't tell you how to use or be transspecies.

No one can't do that, only you can, but if you need help - we're here to help. But I believe it has flourished into territory not of ours... especially into therian/otherkin spaces.

This is a reason why transspecies is it's own term, it is not otherkin and it is not therian, they are separate and equal. But transspecies folk don't have much community like the other two and ... i don't want to say invading... but tying yourself to our culture and our transition without being one of us and without advocating for us is unlike an ally. More a colonizer, and I say that with brown skin.

To friends, the terms become synonymous too quickly and revert back into people believing how they usually think.

Transspecies = transsexuality

Otherkin/therian = transgender

Which.. is false. Transspecies would be the transgender counterpart because transgender doesn't imply transition and neither does transspecies - it only implies going "beyond, or away" from one concept to another - this being species. Otherkin/therians don't do that. They are not transitioning nor are they going "beyond" humanity, they are living alterhuman lives in human bodies and most of them know that their bodies are physically human (we aren't discussing physical nonhumans right now, put your hand down, shut up) in ways that others aren't. They embrace bits od humanity for the benefits but aren't human in ways that wouldn't affect them so much.

Transspecies beasts are alterhuman in ways that affect their everyday life, their species self, and their complete physical body. There is an apparent difference. Otherkin/therian is experienced differently than transspecies and that is okay!

There is no reason why I and others should have to wake up to.. non-transspecies folk in transspecies tags talking about transitioning using our guides and terminology unless they are transitioning to be xenosexed - but we can see that many of them just aren't. They are mostly transitioning to look like us, not be or stand or to advocate for us legally. A similar thing can be found in many salmacian circles where some members will say they "want to transition to be intersex". You just... can't.

Transspecies, to me and others, is not the choice to transition but an intrinsic and lifelong structure that you cannot physically, nentally, behaviorally, etc. hide. People have and will make sure your species is human by means of malspecialia or worse. You have to be reflective at night time, otherwise you're not considered a living being but a meal or roadkill. You have to be humanized, otherwise you're incapable of emotion and culture. You have to be anything that is humanoid, otherwise you are not of "God's plan". If you are not human enough, you are deformed. And transspecies folk usually have congenital traits they consider nonhuman or disorders that alter their brain wiring from birth. This is something deep within us, a need to be seen as nonhuman.

So.

Otherkin/Therian: A deep and intimate relationship with your alterhumanity, including as a choice, that rarely affects day to day perceptions of you.

Transspecies: An interpersonal sense of identity that differs from full humanity to another species, oftentimes socially or medically, which outwardly changes how one is perceived day to day.

And I believe these two should never be synonymous, not because I am "gatekeeping", but because both groups are ridiculed and only one group has to medically and socially deal with it because their alterhumanity isn't something they can "code switch" from. It appears in physical/psychological forms that cannot be destroyed, not even reformation can make us "better humans" and transspecies folk often have trouble masking all together. Neither of these groups have privlege, none of them are better than the other and none of them have privlege over the other - but the truth is that one has to put up with it everyday even if they don't want to and the other sometimes chooses to experience this for euphoria. We are not the same and I cannot agree that we are the same and that we need to join together under interchangeable terminology...

I'm gonna have to pass on that. We are building transspecies communities and here, you're either transspecies/xenosexed or you're not. It's not gatekeeping, it's declaring that we need communal stability before we start including every single person who asks nice enough. It's not out job to include you if you aren't transspecies, we cannot make guides for you, we cannot build your identity for you, we cannot tell you how to transspecies -

only that to be transspecies it must be transspecies, not a flicker of a feeling but something outside of your journey, something you didn't expose yourself too and something you can't get rid of. Intertwined in your flesh and veins, it must be something you don't even want to be, because in wanting it, you might forget that you have limited options for going beyond species.

To @colpfiction I'd like to reveal I do actually have two drafts saved of a story I was trying to make. But I never finished them. And I have thought on Monday that I'm clearly leaking these out slowly and thought because I may never finish those stories. I might as well share them. Maybe not right now. I also made some jokes and memes concerning the development of this AVP story.

I may not continue it because I feel like with Predator Badlands straight up confirming it takes place within the Alien universe. And they are slowly going to finally do an AVP movie down the line. I question what the point of my story would be. And I have made posters/banners concerning it.

But in a nutshell, yeah, I was REALLY trying to bring back the horror of the Alien. Considering the fact I keep calling these guys "StarBeasts" in honor of the original title for the first film.

In my ideas, the term "StarBeast" is the name the Alien the Yautja and other alien lifeforms have given the Alien. More so the Yautja. I LEGIT feel like this name should've been canon and not things like "Serpents" but alias, that's humans saying that.

I legit felt like the term "StarBeast" was so fitting. It's a name that just brings out like...fear or just....it's a raw ass name. A beast from the stars. And again, I was legit leaning into the idea the Aliens, combining the ideas I think Dan O'Bannon had with James Cameron's vision to make something that honors the creature H.R. Giger created.

Granted, I feel like my vision may not be perfect. But I was REALLY trying hard to respect the original Alien. While not bashing Aliens and the way vision it laid out for the creature. My worst fear is that I might've done a "Rise of Skywalker".

A LOT of thought went into the ideas. But I never finished them. I again, will likely be sharing them more soon.

You know....I genuinely question how people or someone could say, "I can't see how Predator can fit into the Alien universe" when it's an alien species that has no intention of revealing itself to others or wanting its technology in the wrong hands.

And I'm talking about the Yautja. Like...it's easy to imagine them in it. But that's mainly me thinking that because the universe is huge, and the species is usually Hell bent on not revealing themselves. Especially the stories are usually standalone.

Does the monster inside Lycion wake up when he turns wolf-man, and does that mean he could potentially fight off succubi like Izutsumi? Just as important: I was wondering if that's why she's more wild, cuz the monster cat is always awake and alert and has opinions sometimes and that affects her mentally much more than it does Lycion.

I don't think they're "awake" in the sense of being conscious. I know the graph shows the beast "sleeping" inside him to show its dormant but I don't think that's literal like the beasts having a separate consciousness

I think it has an affect on them because because in beastform their physical bodies change and that might affect how they feel and perceive things, (we even see that somewhat with Chilchuck being more calm as a tallman), the soul probably affects their personality too but at least in Lycion's case he's still just Lycion in both forms? Here's what he says about beastmen's personality changes

I actually don't know if Lycion would have an advantage as beastmen against succubi like Izutsumi does, tbh I don't even fully understand how it works with Izutsumi, I think the succubi get confused by the mixed souls of beastmen, but unlike Izutsumi who isn't really "in touch" with her fully human side Lycion lives as a human most of the time, so I'd assume succubi aiming for his human side would have more of an effect on him even in werewolf form? But maybe in the beast side could help him resist somewhat? Unsure!

Another thing that makes me think the beast isn't really "activelly making them do things" or having a will is cause Izutsumi doesn't recognize and basically isn't affected by the succubi that aims for her beast side. So the cat soul isn't really "making her do" anything, both souls are "active" in beastmen form but I don't think there's differentiation between them to the extent of being separate wills, does that make any sense?

About Izutsumi being more "wild" I think it's because she has been a beastman for a longtime with no option to become fully human, and on top of that she has also been severely neglected and never socialized properly as a human. Even irl human children become "feral" when severely neglected/not socialized and Izutsumi being part beast would probably exacerbate that.

She basically has survived on mostly instincts for years and then they expected her to know how to behave in society just like that. Maizuru wasn't really the best teacher

So you have a child with the instincts of a cat who wasn't socialized properly until she turned 10 and then kept being mistreated and abused by people that tried to force her to "act properly" until she turns 17 and escapes. Idk how she would act like any other way in her situation.

there's something about lu, in terms of being an individual with layers and layers of masks, that makes me really sad because the thing with most people with masks is that there's usually something underneath it. her? not really. to elaborate. we understand fundamentally the concept of no one's ever born bad, but simultaneously, nobody's born good either, because you haven't even done anything as a child. you just ... were. this puts lu in a rather strange position where, at least in dc, when raised as a person and eventually evaluated psychologically, the psychiatrists concluded that she just is. no good, no bad, no real sense of self—merely a mimicry of the toddlers all around her. not particularly happy or upset about anything. her sense of self and personality doesn't develop after years and years of effort from her family and friends. even then, there's always something a bit more hollow about her. less human and more beast, more feral, not fully understanding humanity and what all it entails, including emotions. she'll play the part required, sure, but she won't be able to tell you what she is if you ask. she'd like someone else to tell her one day. still not too sure if she wants to hear that answer, though.
